By way of some chaotic event her paths cross with River Kingston and it's clear that its hate at first sight, they constantly attack each other with glares and snarky comments. The hatred they have for each other is simple and not to be questioned. Until it was. When forced together Sage and River have to learn to tolerate one another which soon proves easier than anticipated and their animosity for each other gets distracted with some other feelings they weren't initially aware of.
