Burlington Academy, the most prestigious school in the state of New York City.

Home to the absurdly wealthy, dangerously influential and insanely powerful.

Every year, Burlington Academy is praised for its scarce yet well deserved bursary's handed out along with its six full paid scholarships.

But when dismay finds its way into the opulent institution the school board fight to keep from the schools name being tarnished and as a result a student is transferred in to complete senior year as the schools art scholar, this student being ; Sage Romano.

She was the plot twist he never saw coming.

By way of some chaotic event her paths cross with River Kingston and it's clear that its hate at first sight, they constantly attack each other with glares and snarky comments. The hatred they have for each other is simple and not to be questioned.

Until it was.

When forced together Sage and River have to learn to tolerate one another which soon proves easier than anticipated and their animosity for each other gets distracted with some other feelings they weren't initially aware of. It's soon becomes clear to those around them that their beloved 'hatred' for each other is anything but that.

And they soon being to realise that maybe the art of their hate is that they never actually hated each other at all.
