Happening in the 20's - 30's, in the U.S. this movie is about 
Hing Chu, a Chinese - American writer that is struggling to write a new book but he doesn't succeed because of the cockroaches that keep sabotaging him. Louis Chu is another Chinese - American writer that shares the same family name as Hing. Those two 'accidentally' meet up and Louis is claiming that he's the same person as Hing even if they don't look alike at all.

This is 16000 word long novell is a Tale of a young buy growing up in a rather toxic environment and at the same time he exemplifies the psychological characteristic of youth called 'egocentricism'. And so the main character searches for the deeper meaning in the fact that he was: trampled by his schoolmates, neglected by his teachers, and abandoned by his parents and left to fend for himself. I wrote this novel primarily to describe my own unique experience of being a nerdy insane child with antisocial tendencies to the reader in a digestible format,The topic of pathological thoughts is rather interesting to me as I was diagnosed with paranoid psychosis at one point in time, and was also catatonic for the period of 6 months, additionally I’m currently studying psychology and am slowly working towards becoming a clinical psychologist in the future, I work as a practitioner of alternative medicine and am a devoted student of meditation and occultism. The whole purpose of this book was to get my friend back into writing so she could have a way to escape the hell which was her abusive marriage and having a baby with A LOT of medical needs. That's why we follow the original plot of the manga in the beginning--because having an 'outline' of sorts of what to write helped eased her back in. Once she got comfortable with writing again the plot shoots off into several directions. It's a story not to be literary amazing or even entertaining to anyone reading. It's just me trying to help my friend who was suffering.
