At Our Worst

Growing up on an island, Julienne Khan has always loved the familiarity that comes with the ocean and competitive surfing. Even someone who she has yet to beat-Alana Wong.

The two of them don't dislike each other, but they also have never made an effort to even speak, seeing as they didn't exactly have too much in common. They watched from afar, merely checking out the competition.

But after a night at a bar and a much needed pep-talk, the two of them are all of a sudden attached at the hip, leaving Julienne to wonder if maybe the two aren't so different after all.
