Mini-Book of the "Long and Hopeful Journey" Series. If you have not read my first story of this series, Race Against Time, I suggest reading it before you read this story. This is a mini-sequel to that book. 

When Chase, Marshall, Ryder and started the Paw Patrol, their first mission involved a white mother wolf as well as her wolf pup. They meet up again two years and join forces to stop a man named Jason Puissance (That is the plot for "Race Against Time" and "Search For Loved Ones" but not for this book). In this book, the past of Luna and Apollo will be unveiled. This book is about what happened in those years since they last met. How Luna became alpha of the Nightguard Pack, what happened to Apollo's father and more secrets about their past will be revealed.

Five years passed and the person who threatened Chase was finally gone, so Chase was able to return to Adventure Bay. However, there is one problem. The rest of the Paw Patrol thought had Chase had died. They never replaced Chase's spot out of grief. And when Chase returns after many years, the pups aren't sure if they should trust him anymore. Is Chase going to be able to regain their trust? How is Skye going to react? Will they ever trust him again? Or will things never go back to normal? Only time will tell.
