Once upon a time, long, long ago, three golden goddesses descended upon the great chaos of the void. Where they came from, it was hardly known, ancient primordial beings that existed far outside of time and space. But when they left, they left behind the most powerful and sacred of objects, a triforce seated in the sacred realm. This sacred realm became a part of the world they created, in a blessed land named Hyrule. The triforce now is long lost to history, its pieces said to have been scattered across time. Some say the fragments reside within the chosen heroes of old...

Link learns of the creation of Hyrule, and talks to a dragon as old as time.

When the three goddesses of the Triforce unintentionally grant the Princess of Hyrule the Triforce of Power, and the evil locked away from the world the Triforce of Wisdom, everything is in chaos as it was before, only it's the princess this time who's causing the trouble. Zelda had been power hungry for years. Years before the mark of the Triforce of Power appeared on the back of her hand, she'd always thrown fits if something didn't go her way. Now, at only seventeen and fully gifted with the Triforce of Power, she made sure things went her way, and her way only. Ganondorf had escaped the Sacred Realm somehow, and returns to the Gerudo Village in peace. Accidentally blessed with the Triforce of Wisdom, he acknowledges the Gerudo's hard work and thrives to make his village a better place for everyone. Link, still possessing the Triforce of Courage, has been assigned to be Zelda's personal bodyguard and do something horribly wrong to please her majesty, which he does not partake in ever doing. Fate brings Link and Ganondorf face to face. Somehow, Link and Ganondorf team up and secretly plot against the princess to stop her vile plans to make Hyrule miserable. After all, it was Courage and Wisdom who saved Hyrule all those times before, right? •• [Post OoT; Before the events of TP] The Legend of Zelda belongs to Nintendo. The Hero, the Princess, and the Cursed King

38 parts Complete

For centuries the wielders of the Triforce have been trapped in a seemingly endless battle between good and evil. It's simple: the Hero and the Princess destroy the King of Darkness, restoring peace to the land. But what happens when they don't want that destiny? After tragedy strikes, Princess Zelda finds herself living in Gerudo Town, where Link and Ganondorf befriend her. Everything seems to be going well; there's even a possible romance between Link and Zelda. However, their happiness doesn't last long. With tensions rising with the Kingdom of Hyrule, it's only a matter of time before they face an all-out war. In the chaos, the last thing Link, Zelda, and Ganondorf want to deal with is the Triforce, but fate has other plans. Cover: @hey_itsshae
