Logan Reed never felt like the Outerbanks was the place for her. Born and raised on The Cut, parents struggling to support her and her little sister, Logan only knew privilege existed because the Kooks liked to flaunt their wealth.

She vowed to get out of The Cut, leave it all behind after high school. She worked hard to get the best grades, worked any job she could get her hands on to save up. The only bit of The Cut she kept her hands gripped onto was her friends, the people she could count on no matter what.

But as the summer becomes more than working jobs, doing extra school work, and boating with the four idiots she cherished most, Logan soon has to rethink everything she thought she knew about herself.

The first being that the whole 'No Pogue on Pogue Macking' rule was going to be really hard to follow when JJ keeps making that small crush she has on him grow bigger and bigger with every smile.
