Evelyn adjusts nicely to the changes in her life - after moving to a new town due to her mother getting transferred as an elementary school teacher - but the one thing she isn't thrilled at all about is meeting the neighbors next door.
They seem off putting and frankly a little odd - from the shouting late at night to the twitching kid - it doesn't seem like something Evelyn would want to get herself mixed up in.

But after being forced to walk to school with the twitching boy in question, she finds herself liking his company and even eventually liking him.
But for him, it's a different story.
