"So when's the wedding?" The mother of the boy jokingly asked the two. Her face immediately becoming a bright shade of pink, (Y/N) looked at the woman in bewilderment. The boy on the other hand smiled brightly and opened his mouth to answer before going comically still, fully comprehending what his mother meant. Thoroughly flustered, his entire face turned as red as a rose.
(Y/N) and Deku have been close friends ever since they can remember. Making a promise to be there for each other always, through thick and thin. Whatever life threw their way, they'd figure it out together, no matter what.

As long as he's there and no one tries anything, she's fine, and if she's fine then he's happy- they're happy. He might not've been able to do anything back then, but now's different, he has a quirk now. Everything is going to change for the better and nothing will stop that.

At first, she had only piqued his interest. From a stranger's standpoint, there was something different about her. Whenever she talked to him or just in general, it felt different. The sound of her voice cleared his ever-crowded mind. This was new, unexpected, and unexplored territory for him. When he saw Bakugo doing anything negative towards her, he wanted to protect her. But someone was already there. Deku. The moment he realized this, he also realized it didn't sit right with him. Not even in the slightest. That should be him. He'd do a better job anyways.
