"Probably with your one-week-lasting boyfriends."
I let out a humorless laugh. That's really what he thinks? "I've never said I love you to anyone in a romantic way." I inhale sharply. "And for my fucking misfortune, the first guy I said it to had to be my bodyguard.

Hope Ashford is used to getting her way. A rich spoiled girl who doesn't have any limits. Although, underneath that spoiled, bratty, and cocky personality, is an insecure girl who has only ever wanted to be enough.
Adrian Newman is used to having a shitty life. Despite all the things life has thrown at him, he continues to move forward to look out for his sister. Even if that means being Hope Ashford's personal bodyguard.
Hope's parents hire Adrian, to keep her safe. Hope is against the idea and tries to get rid of Adrian at first, but it gets to a point where she realizes Adrian has become more than just a bodyguard.
