The Age of Information.

They watch you, follows your every move. A slip of tongue, false alarm, wrong password and every bit of your information will be in the hands of the other end while you will be reduced to triviality.

States dominating States, manipulating their population to work under them. To live and die for them, because, what is a man without its state? Nothing.

A malicious and hideous Governing Body, playing keys of black and white, striped and colourful humans like puppets. The laws of marriage, pawns as children and trading everything to be placed further up the hierarchy.

Blinded by the rapacity of power and fame, not even backstabbing is given a second thought. May it be to your dearest friend or foe.

A girl of flesh and bones, contract bound to be a cyborg soon, eradicating stereotypes and malpractices, wrecking entitlement and fighting for peace.

A boy of frail faith in love, snatched away from his lover, in search for a purpose to live for.

Eight years. Seven days. Six hours. Five lives. Four heads. Three teenagers. Two states. One project.

AMBY AWARDS TOP PICK 2024❤️ I can only see half of his face, reflected in the mirror at the front of the bus, and part of that is obscured by the peak of the black company-branded cap he's wearing. But I can see enough to glean that there's a strong jaw covered in scruff. A wide mouth that looks like it would be prone to smiling. He's wearing glasses with trendy light tortoiseshell frames, and I can't quite discern the colour of his eyes from my position . . . but some weird intuition is telling me that they'll be hazel, and I wonder when my brain is going to catch up. Because I *know* him, don't I? I'm almost certain of it. And he seems to know me, too. Or at least he thinks he does. The way he's glancing over at me lets me in on that. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Mirren Shepherd has *many* pet peeves. Top of the list, though? Staycations . . . And surprises. So when her girls' trip abroad is cancelled at the last minute and she finds herself roped into a minibus tour of Northern Scotland instead, she isn't remotely happy. And when she finds out who their guide is . . . It's yet another reason for her to dislike surprises. Because Owen Sullivan wasn't so much the one who got away . . . He was the one who just didn't return. And, after she finally got over him, she never expected to see him again. Mirren would prefer to leave the past in the past, but Owen is determined to try to right his wrongs. Can she trust him? Can she trust *herself*? Maybe, just maybe, this surprise - and staycation - won't be as bad as Mirren thinks . . . ~~~~~~~~~~~~

They say he's beyond saving-cold, unhinged, a monster in human skin. Locked away in Ravenson Asylum, 𝙆𝙞𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙣 𝙃𝙖𝙮𝙚𝙨 has spent years in the dark, his mind sharpened into a weapon, his heart a thing of the past. Emotionless. Calculating. Predatory. The world believes it owns him, that he'll die behind these walls. But he knows better. He's been waiting. Watching. And now, it's time to escape. The night before his execution, he offers her a choice. "Come with me, or stay behind. But if you stay, you'll never see me again." 𝘼𝙣𝙖𝙮𝙖 𝙈𝙚𝙝𝙩𝙖 should say no. Should run. Should turn her back on the man who watches her like she's his next breath, who speaks in a voice that slips under her skin like a promise. But she doesn't. She's spent too long studying the wreckage of his mind, tracing the scars he doesn't let the world see. There's something inside him- something human, something hers. And maybe she's just as mad as they say he is, because she takes his hand... and never looks back. A stolen ship. A week at sea. A secluded island where the rest of the world doesn't exist. Here, he is no longer their prisoner-but he's still not free. His past is hunting him, and if he doesn't kill the ghosts that haunt him, they will destroy them both. But the real danger isn't the blood on his hands. It's what happens when he finally lets himself feel. Because she's his now. And Kieran Hayes does not know how to love without obsession, without destruction, without ruin. She saved him once. But can she save herself from him? ____________________

Had Colleen not been labeled as La monstruosidad Blanca, maybe she would've had a childhood like the others, with parents like the others had and even love everyone else got to feel. It wasn't easy to live among the ignorant only that was nothing compared to the struggle of trying to cover up those scars they left. - You could say that the universe seemed to finally have enough pity to sprinkle some hope into her pathetic life with an opportunity to escape it all, in form of a 6'4ft Auburn haired COO, Thomas McGowan who was blessed with the face carved to resemble an angel only to have a heart that'd rotted long before his grave. - Somehow, those two souls as different from one an other as Ying and Yang yet as well fitting to each other, tangled up together, forming something almost worth calling beautiful. - "I think that true love is when two people make each other love themselves more" . Clueless x Cautious . Old money x no money . Sunshine x Grumpy . Knowing eyes, peaceful soul . Pretty smile, ugly thoughts . Fish out of the water . First Love . forced proximity . Aloof couple

𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐂𝐄𝐋𝐋𝐀 𝐂𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐓 (ANGEL) Older. Scary. Silent. Damon Lars was always lurking in the shadows, a sinister presence that scared me. It would be oblivious for me not to notice him even in the darkest areas. He was there. Maybe invisible to others, not to me. My brother's best friend, Damon, was notorious for his dark reputation. While I immersed myself in books, I could feel his gaze upon me. Sometimes, I feel him notice me too. No one knows what happens when all my brother's friends are busy. I saw him. Every day. And I vowed to keep my mouth shut. My secret. And his. STELLA RUSSEL (PRINCESS) Rich. Entitled. Bratty. That was me, and I'm proud. I hated Grayson Meadows. He constantly treated me as if I were a spoiled rich brat - which I was - our fathers being business partners made us around each other a lot. Despite his mocking, he always protected me, causing me to feel uneasy in his presence. If I harbor such animosity towards him, why do I find myself concerned for him too? I hate him. But I fucking need him more. LILIANA ROSELINE (DOLLFACE) Jaxon's intense gaze always sent shivers down my spine, as if he could see right through me. He was Marci's violent older brother, a brooding figure with a penchant for chaos. Danger seemed to emanate from him like a dark aura. Yet, amidst his menacing aura, he would fixate his eyes on me, as if I were the epitome of perfection. But could a girl, so perfect, ever be enticed by a man like him? Yes, because I'm so deep down in love with him. AVERY RAVEN (LITTLE DEVIL) Alessio, the loud figure, refers to me as the 'little devil' and feigns animosity towards me. He says he hates me a lot. However, deep down, I am aware that his feelings are quite the opposite. In the dead of night, when the world slumbers, he clandestinely dials my number on each of my birthdays, evoking an unsettling sensation within me. Until last summer, when everything went south and I ruined Alessio's life
