Everything seemed to be doing alright after the ISA was defeated in Blue Valley. McKenna Garrick finally had a girlfriend, her best friend, and her family to support her as Summer School rolled around as Courtney faced the battle between being Stargirl and herself.

While McKenna faces the challenges of what she is now compared to when she started in the JSA.

 But when everything seems to be doing alright, a new villain from the ISA the Shade returns and he, Cindy Burman and a Darkness might have a plan along with some new ISA members on more enemy schemes. Will the team be able to stop the ISA again? Find out in Our Society book 2 A New Society.
