Y/N was an air bender, she was tasked with watching over the avatar as a punishment for something that she had done; something that the air nomads frowned upon her for. He was still that person somewhere on the inside, but the scar was a visual reminder of the changes he had undergone both physically and mentally. There was no doubt he was lost.
