Adulting is a difficult journey fraught with stress, anxiety, loneliness, catching feelings, heartbreak, painful healing, routine, monotony... all to simply learn how to be the main character in your own life... 

Main Character Vibes follows the intertwining lives of an ensemble cast of millennials as they struggle to find meaning & purpose in the big city.

It's October in Toronto. Autumn has exacerbated that sinking feeling that comes when winter is on the horizon. 

Elias & Tilly have been living together for three years ever since they met and graduated from college. As a Legal intern, Tilly is overworked and under-loved but has no time for anything else. Having been living the same day for the past three years, Elias is disillusioned by life after college...his frequent panic attacks are just one symptom of that monotony. 

Things take a drastic turn when Wayne (a retired investment banker turned art collector) injects a little bit of chaos into Elias's routine. Being Elias's mentor, Wayne persuades him that passion needs reviving every now and then and takes him to a plush brothel that he partly owns with madame Clara Desbiens, who herself came to the big city with plans of her own. 

Then there are Francis and Marie who are stuck in a stagnant marriage. But unbeknownst to Francis, Marie is having an affair with Wayne. 

Thus, the characters go through the motions putting temporary bandages on permanent wounds until an inevitable carnage unravels their lives on a cold October night in the heart of Canada's biggest metropolis.
