[Book 2 of The Unexpected series]

Kokoro Hatake managed to get past Gaara's defenses and became the friend Gaara's always wanted. It was hard to regain his trust and to get past strong feelings of hate and fear, but Kokoro was able to overcome them with a little bit of love, support, and determination. Her time spent on Team 7 was a rollercoaster of emotions. She never thought she would experience half the things Naruto, Sasuke, her dad, and she encountered on missions in and out of the village. She captured runaway cats, fought an S-ranked missing nin, found a long-lost cousin, and survived an invasion.

She became strong in Konoha, and she was forever grateful for everyone who helped her. But she was ready to forge her own path. She was ready to learn from those in Kirigakure, to learn better ways to protect those she loved most, to learn what it meant to be a great kunoichi. Most importantly, she was ready to learn what it meant to be Kokoro in every sense of the word.

Living in Kiri will not be easy, but Kokoro is up for the task. With village prejudice, distrust, and loneliness creeping up on her at every opportunity, she's just happy she's still in contact with her loved ones. As Kokoro grows stronger, bigger and harder obstacles stand in her way. She just wished she could get Gaara out of her head.

Ahsoka Aoyama, the last member of the legendary Aoyama clan, was deemed a prodigy in every regard since she was young. After the obscure death of her parents, the once joy filled six-year old is returned to her birth place of Konoha where she enrolls in the Academy and has to learn to adapt with some help from two unlikely friends. Yet the most important moment of her life might have been when she met a certain silver-haired boy. **Did I name her after Ahsoka Tano from Star Wars?...yes. Even if the name isn't Japanese I thought it would fit her nicely. This is a Kakashi x OC story but I don't want that to be the WHOLE focus of it. I want to really emphasize her relationships with the other characters as if she truly were a part of the show. What a sucky character she would make if she were only there to be Kakashi's love interest right? My goal is to make her seem as if she could be a believable character in the show. This was also written with the way the anime is made in mind. I will be adding my own arcs to the story to spicy things up and not bore you to death with things you have already watched. WARNING: will contain mature content at some point (not when they're still kids, duh) This story will have three parts (all in this same book, I'm not making three different books) dividing the different time periods of the show. Part 1: Before Naruto starts Part 2: Naruto and Naruto Shippuden Part 3: Boruto I'm mentioning this because the writing style for each (specially Part 3) might be a little different. Hope you guys enjoy! ;3
The Way Into Mist Village (NarutoxMHA) by worldwalkerdj

What happens when you take 4 hero students, one ex-villain, two aliens, and over 15 ninjas, and throw them all together on a weeks long road trip through their enemies territory? *** The 4th Great Shinobi War has ended, and Gaara is starting to wonder how the nations will maintain their fragile peace without a common enemy. He's devised a plan to go on a diplomatic tour of the shinobi world, and try to establish strong bonds with each village, and Mist Village is his first stop. Joining Gaara and his two ever loyal siblings, Temari and Kankuro, will be the Leaf Shinobi, Naruto, Shikamaru, Ino, Tenten, Hinata, Neji, and surprisingly, Sasuke Uchiha. Sasuke isn't really going for the mission though, he's been persuaded to join them by Gaara's new, out of this world teacher, Shine Likstar, and her partner Wally West, and their current hero trainees, Momo, Shoto, Dabi--and now joining them: Bakugo and Camie. They all don't start off on the best foot, and Gaara wonders how they'll make it to Mist without killing each other. Along the way the group runs into Sasuek's old Team Taka, and makes some detours into creepy lairs, all the while trying not to drive each other insane with their crazy hijinks and culture clashes. Not to mention past trauma. But things may heat up when they actually reach Mist Village and find more than they bargained for. [This story is a sort of spin off of the canon story line, and picks up where my shorter retelling of the first show in "New Way of Ninja" leaves off. Read that book first if you want to know how these characters know each other. Otherwise if you just want to jump right in and figure it out, I respect that approach too. This should be a lot of fun. The story is styled to be more Slice of Life/Action, but they'll be ships, funny situations, and angst and drama in plenty for all of you who like a little spiciness with your friendship stories. Promises to be a deep dive.

(A Naruto-themed fanfic- Book 1 in its series) Just recently promoted to Jonin Status as a medical shinobi of the Hidden Leaf Village, Katsu Inazuna is assigned to Squad Seven. Sakura Haruno, the squad's original ninja medic has departed the village for several years in order to receive training in the Hidden Sand Village. Katsu, Sakura's replacement, has a lot to learn about being a successful Jonin. But can she handle her first mission as one? It becomes more than an ordinary mission when Katsu comes across three young children, each of them with distinct, striking features. Each of them claim to be either the children or siblings of original Naruto villains. Can Katsu and Kakashi train them to become ninjas who instead fight for the good of what's in their hearts? Sasuke Uchiha, an ex-member of Squad Seven and also Katsu's ex-boyfriend, is growing stronger under Orochimaru's teaching. Will Katsu, Kakashi, and Naruto be able to succeed in capturing him and returning him to the Leaf Village after years of being gone? Or will the mission result differently? Will seeing Sasuke again cause Katsu's old, buried feelings for him to rise to the surface? Or will she finally blossom into someone bigger than herself with feelings for someone else? Is it possible that Katsu's secret dream of becoming the next Hokage could ever turn into a reality? ‘This time, I won’t get hurt.’ Asari Kazue is a shinobi who doesn't know pain. It's not that she's had a soft life- no shinobi does- she's simply physically incapable of feeling it. From the day she was old enough to understand, her family has been teaching her what can hurt her the same way a normal child is taught to read and write. Her cousin, Noriaki, has watched over her the entire time, becoming the protector her blind-brother never could. As she and her teammates are entered in one of the hardest tests of their lives, however, and she meets a person who seems to be an anchor in her unpredictable world, one thing becomes frighteningly clear. Just because one can’t feel pain doesn’t mean they can’t be hurt. *** ‘I’m not going mad, not yet.’ Kurama Jun has lived his entire life aware that one day he’d probably go crazy. To those who know him, he’s just another ticking bomb. In an effort to keep his freedom he pretends to be unaware of it all, as if the world around him isn’t as fragile as cracking glass. As the darkness within him grows stronger, however, it slowly becomes impossible. He can only hope that when it shatters, he’s the only one to break. *** ‘He said I could play family- but he never said I could stay.’ Miki has been taken into the Gekko family and has done her best to put her past behind her. As a result, she puts on a carefree attitude and to most of those around her, it seems as if she’s fine. The darkness that threatens Konoha, however, starts to shatter the world she’s built around herself. When an old enemy returns, she’s forced to confront not only feelings that she’s buried deep within her regarding the past she’s left behind, but also a different set of feelings. Ones that could shatter the fragile friendship with the one person she’s not willing to lose. *Book One in the Senseless Series* *Cover by AnimeFanToTheDeath*

(discontinued) In the Shinobi World, a scarce amount of humans believe in the existence of yōkai. Hatake Kakashi is not one of them. However, he isn't exactly the type to bluntly state that they don't exist. After all, a world wherein peace is not a word that can easily be understood is a world with a whole lot more mysteries and therefore, also cannot be understood. During a mission in the Land of Iron, Kakashi, Obito, Rin and Minato find themselves crossing paths with a girl no more than two years younger than the three children. Unexpectedly, the bizarre and cruel weather hasn't killed her yet. It is no surprise that this young girl named Setsuko arrives in The Village Hidden in the Leaves with Team Minato and surprises even the Third Hokage with her long black hair, dark blue eyes, a ghostly white-- almost transparent complexion and a kimono of the same color as snow. Of course, no one really believes that Setsuko could actually be what she could be suspected of being: A Yuki-musume. But in a world where mysteries are meant to be kept, how can anyone say that the ethereal races of the yōkai are non-existent? As Rin, Obito and Kakashi teach her about everything there is to know about living in the village, the silver-haired young boy finds himself intrigued by basically everything relating to Setsuko. Although, with all of the fear Setsuko has always bottled up inside of her, it would sound much easier to befriend her than to actually be able to do it.
