When someone places a grubby looking notebook on the "Lost and Found" corner with no identification ESPECIALLY one that has equations on the distance between a molecular subatomic particle to the neutron (I have no idea what that meant), all Chris Norman would usually do is to junk the cursed nerdy notebook into the "Shredder". But since the one who placed it on the desk was his 'eversince-before-birth way-of-his-league because-she's-so-amazing-and-he's-soooo-not-amazing-but-still-i-like-her' crush, Katherine "Kath" Smithson, he's forced to undertake a mission of finding out who the notebook's owner is before graduation day.

With a lot of pressure coming in from Mr. Jiggins the stinky gym coach, to Brent the bully, and even the upcoming prom (how's the prayers for Kath and Derek's break-up, Chris?)-- will Chris keep his promise to find the owner of the notebook?
