Basically a "The Little Mermaid" AU in the sonic franchise. I hope you enjoy this yeet-post of a fanfic I decided to write when I got way too bored. All of the characters rightfully belong to SEGA and the Sonic Team. 
Shadow will be gay and Infinite will be a biromantic asexual for plot purposes(if you don't know these terms, you can google them to clear out confusion).

As many Sonic fans are aware, Sonic Forces didn't live up to our expectations. Barebones, linear gameplay, overly forced "nostalgia", and a story that felt extremely half-baked. That's why I've decided to completely rewrite and revamp the story of Sonic Forces in the alternate take of the game. I've gone through the game's script and made some very heavy changes to improve upon the story. (gameplay is a whole other thing, I'll leave that to modders).
