"Uhm, hey" Dabi tried. He hadn't been around children since he was one. Obviously it's been a while and now he was at a loss. How do you try to comfort a kid, much less communicate with one.

Dabi sat down fully in front of the kids box, trying to make himself look friendly even though he know he looked like something right out of a nightmare.

Green eyes hardened with an intensity he hadn't ever seen in someone so young before. Something cracked inside him at seeing the boy so defensive. It reminded Dabi of himself.

"I wanna help you"
