Prophecystalker's sister is unknown to dragons. Ravenwatcher is her sister's shadow, becoming invisible whenever she's around. But she soon finds her soulmate - another NightWing bearing the name of Shadowsight. Ravenwatcher tries to only see him when her sister isn't around - or better, keep him away from her altogether. Will Shadowsight betray her and seek Prophecystalker? Or is she really the only dragon in his heart? At the same time, Prophecystalker has received and told a prophecy: A raven takes flight, a prophecy will fail - and shadows creep ever closer to the raven. The raven and the shadows must flee to a new home - or Pyrrhia and Pantala will be destroyed forever. The mystic prophecy weighing on her mind, Ravenwatcher and her Winglet, the Silver Winglet, are determined to figure out what it means and keep the continents safe - even if it means sacrificing their leader.

Decades of wars and unrest have clawed at the sides of Pyrrhia's dragons for as long as they can remember, and the tales of true peace and dragonets of prophecy are simply whispers of the past. Shrike has never been regarded by his tribe as a real SkyWing. His mother fell ill and passed away when he was a dragonet, and his father, a royal SeaWing, was executed by his dictatorial queen as soon as it was found out that he'd had an affair with a common SkyWing. Still, Shrike remains tethered to the Queen and his tribe. Years of lost wars, unfulfilled treaties, and an excessively lavish lifestyle lived by their ruler, Queen Markhor, have left the SkyWing tribe impoverished and starving, and Shrike, the princess's personal bodyguard, has witnessed the consequences of the Queen's ignorance firsthand. A diplomacy meeting with the SeaWings gone wrong erupts in yet another bloody war, and Shrike is swept up in battle before finding himself caught in between the jaws of the political turmoil that seem to be tearing his tribe apart from the inside out. To make matters worse, a warning delivered years before by the continentally renowned prophet, Hereafter, is unraveling before Shrike's eyes, and its exhortations seem like an echo chamber awfully reminiscent of his own life. That coupled with a newfound power in his claws leaves him spiraling and wondering one question: could 𝘩𝘦 be the terror of talons? ✦ Please read the introductory pages! They will be EXTREMELY informative for understanding the basics of Pyrrhia's situation and the timeline leading up to this story. Consider leaving a vote if you enjoy this story! Wings of Fire: The Secret of Silverstripe by Echoes_of_Polaris
27 parts Complete
NOTE: The following is a fanfiction inspired by Tui T Sutherland's "Wings of Fire" saga. "Wings of Fire" does not belong to me, and most of the material included in this story is fanon, not canon, though there will be several canon characters making appearances throughout the story. You've heard the story about how the NightWings manipulated the War of SandWing Succession, sending assassins and spies to watch over and control the situation for their own benefit. This is the story of one such spy, who was posted in the Kingdom of the Sea to observe the SeaWing army and Blister's forces as they sought victory in the world war. Silverstripe was raised by the Talons of Peace with one purpose in mind: to spy for the Talons in the War of SandWing Succession. Now that she's finally ready to begin her career, she's finding that spying on the SeaWings is even smoother than she anticipated. However, there are also complications that she'd never thought of... complications that could jeopardize her mission and even cost her her life. Will Silverstripe be able to observe the SeaWings from right under their snouts, or will her identity be revealed and her first mission cost her her life? Cover: photographed and designed by me. PS, for the artists out there: if you'd like to create fanart of Silverstripe's story and feel comfortable sharing your artwork, feel free to send it to me, and if you like I'll put it in the Fanart section of "The Secret of Silverstripe" Finally: Don't hesitate to leave any questions/comments/concerns. I'd love some input on my writing, and if you happen to spot some typos or grammer issues in there, please let me know so I can fix it. Happy reading! :)

Imagine reading your favorite book series when you're suddenly transported into it. That's what happend to Daniel Lorence when he is transported into the fictional world of Pyrrhia. With the knowledge of reading all fifteen books he knows everything about everyone, however when an unforseen prophecy comes into play -one that never made an appearance in the books- Daniel will have to go on a perilous journey if he ever wishes to escape alive. All while he tries to keep his true identity a secret from his new friends. But when somone starts to pull the strings on his mind as well as the minds of the dragons around him, he finds himself risking it all to save a world he's not even supposed to exist in. As well as having to make the choice.. If living life as dragon... Is worth leaving his human life behind. ---------------------------- Hello fellow WoF readers this is only my second story and my first based on WoF so expect errors. I accept any ideas and Constructive criticism (don't be too harsh please) so come along for the ride. NOTE: Things may seem off within 4h story such as: A confusing timeline, unexplained plot holes, out of character reactions, etc. All I can say is that they're in there on purpose for the most part and will be explained as you read through the story. So if you're confused, don't worry about it, it'll likely be answered later. Also warning that this book contains some swearing every now and then. Thanks to @StormingFire555 for the cover design.
