Matthew protects his little brother from the people that hurt him and will always be there for his baby brother. Alfred is not mentally old enough to ever have been left alone and is physically younger than 19. Arthur was a terrible parent to Alfred. Francis was neglectful of Alfred and only used him. No one outside of North and South America have interacted with Alfred in almost 300 years. Arthur threatens Alfred to attend and Matthew has to figure out how to make sure that Arthur and Francis don't interact with the fragile nation.

{STORY DISCONTINUED and I'm probably never gonna finish it whoops} The world is ending, obviously. America never really paid attention to the news, only Good Morning America, of course, but when the flooding and crippling storms started in the south and worked their way to D.C., he got nervous. Alfred is alone in a bunker, panicking for his people and brothers and the rest of the countries like Japan and Germany. He hears a distant muffled sound above the howling winds, a frightened little boy sits in the corner with an old stuffed bunny sucking his thumb. No one notices him. How is America supposed to protect hundreds of people and himself against a storm that could kill people in a number of ways? And now a kid had moved him to become his caretaker. When Alfred became independent from England, France had muttered to him that he didn't know the pain of raising a child then losing it. But know, he assumes that he may just learn. They decide to read it and find a note on the inside. Will everyone realize that maybe some ignore Canada because he makes them uncomfortable? Or is it just because he is usually peaceful? The book holds many secrets about Canada, some probably should be left in the dark, but only if the nations react badly. Okay, disclaimer, probably not terrible secrets, but this will be interesting. But will reading the book really help?
