Dragons used to rule the North along with the humans that they allowed to tame them. Their bonds was inseparable, almost mythical. 

Ira Stormbreaker grew up in the North becoming a Tamer like her ancestors before. Alastor is her Dragon, young and full of life. 

Then everything changed with Smaug attacked. 

He destroyed the North and claimed Erebor for his own. 

Except Ira and Alastor survived the brutal onslaught. Now 60 years has passed since that day. 

Now Ira is cold and bitter towards most. She's reclusive and mysterious. When Gandalf asks her to join a company of 13 Dwarves and 1 Hobbit, she goes but only to seek revenge on the beast. 

Thorin Oakenshield does not know what to make of her. She's cold and distant, almost frozen with distrust and grief, but she fills his mind and his heart. 

Only they don't know it but their love story has been foretold thousands of years ago as a prophecy. 

Fate is their hands.

You've heard the story of the 13 Dwarfs, the wizard and the Hobbit right? Well they left out one thing, the Unexpected Member of the Company. I was there for it all, from the Shire to Rivendale to Mirkwood and then The Lonely Mountain. You see I am 1/4 Elf, 1/4 man, 1/4 wizard and 1/4 Dwarf so I am tall for a dwarf but not tall enough for an elf/man/wizard. But the elven/wizard side gave me powers that nobody else had, nobody knew who my parents were other then my mother was 1/2 elf and 1/2 man and my father was 1/2 wizard and 1/2 dwarf. Gandalf and Lady Galadriel sent me to "Earth" after Smaug took over Erebor when I was nothing but a little baby girl. 40 yrs later here I am still looking like I am in my 20's with a very bad attitude and wanting NOTHING but to get away from my stupid foster home.......this is MY story on what happened and how I got bad to Middle Earth, trained with Gandalf and Lady Galadriel till it was time to take back the mountain. But in the battle your husband's life was taken by azog. It wasn't easy for you, especially raising one baby son and one on the way. but Thorin was there to help you. After your husband's death you knew you'd never fall in love again until a certain Hobbit came into your life. (The first movie will sadly not be the extended version, but the others are the extended version.)
