Useless...that's all anyone's ever thought of me. Pathetic, weak...a disgrace to the viking race. I'd taken these words and abuse all of my life, but I didn't know how much longer I would. Even my father, who's sole job was to look after me, did nothing to stop it and I grew apart from him because of that. But when I met Him, met Toothless...everything changed. I felt my life caught a brand new purpose and I felt joy for the first time in a long while. It was the best month I'd experienced in years but I should've known it wouldn't last long. 
It all started with the Monstrous Nightmare....and went downhill from there.All Rights Reserved

The name is given to those who won't survive their first winter. Those who don't belong, those who will not be any more than a burden. Hiccup isn't an exception to this. I mean, sure he survived his first winter, and the next fifteen. But he caused problems, not on purpose. Things just happened when he was around. First when he was six, and a nearby furnace blew up when he lost his temper. Then when he was eight, nine, eleven. These strange happenings kept occurring, and nothing he did helped. Everything he did, everything he tried had some way of turning back on him. For the longest time he believe that the God's cursed him. My mother quickly took me and my sister away as my father fought. we were almost to the hidden hideout. then a knet came out of no were and we got caught. we fell to the ground as Vikings surrendered us. i was frightened about what was going to happen to us. Our mother tried to protect us, but they shot a arrow at her head and died. they did the same thing to my sister. i cried in tears which caught their attention. they whispered to each other and then one walked up to me and said. "Today is your lucky day freak, you will be on sell." i tried to back away from him as much as i could, but there was no use. they dragged me from the knets to their ship as i was to scared to fight them.
