A Mercenary killed in action by a powerful esper is reincarnated in another world as a lowly Skeleton in a dungeon. He'll have to rely on his skills from his past life and the Esper ability he retained [Essence Extraction] to grow stronger and survive in this new world. However, with such a wide variety of skills available for the taking, "survival" might be more of a concern for the people of this new world instead.

Note: I do not own Re:Monster. Obviously. And will never claim as such. You should check out the original series if you haven't already. It's good.

Reincarnated as an Empath

4 parts Ongoing Mature

Depressed. Lost. Unseen. Lerst never felt like he belonged in the world he was born into. Crushed dreams and numb routines defined his life-until fate granted his wildest, most impossible wish. Now, transported into a world of magic and infinite potential, Lerst awakens with a powerful skill: [Empath], the ability to copy the skills, mana, and even race of those he connects with through their souls. With supreme skills, a perfect body, and a loyal superior demon as his first friend, Lerst finds himself at the center of a kingdom on the brink of war-caught between the sins of the demon council, the looming threat of the angels, and the heavy weight of self-worth. Can someone who never felt happy truly find purpose in another world? Can empathy become the strength that changes everything?
