After the war with Gaia, visibly exhausted Nico DiAngelo surprises even himself by agreeing to spend three days in the infirmary at the request of Camp Halfblood's head medic Will Solace. All characters belong to the brilliant Rick Riordan.

LIABILITY - WILCO SOLANGELO by lucasjonessavedme

Nico's more than a little broken. He feels as though he's a liability to everyone around him. He feels hated and unwanted and he desperately wants and needs someone to save him. Will is busy helping in the infirmary but a part of him still is focused on a certain pale skinny boy who he wants to save. The problem is he doesn't know how. Then the both of them share a flashback together and it changes their dynamic. Will suddenly realises how serious Nico's mental health issues are and it scares him. Nico desperately wants to run away because he refuses to let the adorable bright ball of sunshine be tainted by his darkness What happens when Will realises that behind Nico's harsh darkness there's a soft boy who can be happy and funny? And what happens when Nico realises Will may be a sunshine but even the Sun can't always be bright and happy? Oh and not to mention the growing crush the boys have on each other. After Nico's three days in the infirmary, he's kind of starting to like camp. He's got some friends and a nice cabin and a *tiny* crush on Will Solace. Will's come to terms with his liking of Nico, too, but he has to go home for five days. It's just five days, but they each feel like it's an eternity. All the while, they're convinced the other doesn't like them back. CW: Mild cursing, mentions of PTSD and flashbacks. Also, beware of very infrequent upload schedules.

Nico di Angelo has always been a bit of a loner when it comes to the demigod camps, so he didn't expect much of a difference when he decided to stay at Camp Half-Blood. Which is fine! It just made it that much easier to keep hidden the secret residing under his sleeves. Will Solace is a down-to-Earth healer with a lot more darkness than he lets on. He's determined to help anyone he can who needs it. This includes the dense (yet admittedly cute) son of Hades, who might even be more stubborn than Will. After a nail-biting battle against the Earth Mother herself, these boys find themselves in the infirmary together for a promised three days. While they're certainly different at first glance, soon enough, they find themselves more similar than believable. As their relationship blossoms into something more, Nico gets a premonition of something coming, worthy of breaking the two apart. Will they be able to fight their apparent fate? Nico Di Angelo's school is taking the whole junior year on a trip to Greece. Following the no gender mingling school policy, Nico groups with his best buds Percy Jackson and Jason Grace. All is well and good before Will Solace joins their bubble. Nico gets a strange, tingly, ticklish feeling in his stomach when he's around Will. It doesn't help when they have to pair off to explore the Parthenon and Percy and Jason take off, leaving Nico alone with Will. It also doesn't help when the two boys decide to share a bed at the hotels.
