It is 2046 and the world is entwined with war, interstellar space exploration, and new and frightening possibilities. Through all of the chaos, Mila struggles to find her identity in the city of Porta, a place where class is divided amongst those with power and wealth, and those who must kneel and submit to survive. Living on the outskirts of the city near the woods, Mila has always been a child of the earth, revelling in the mystical knowledge of plants and animals. When her archaeologist parents are suddenly transferred from their sector to work a private contract on an island in the Mediterranean, Mila jumps at the opportunity to get away from the life she once knew. It is here where her own clairvoyant abilities connect with a hidden knowledge that is deeply rooted within the walls of an ancient temple - the place of her parents excavation and suspicious plans. During her time here, she meets her mother's wise and ancient mentor, professor Zecharia. Together, they see into facets of the past, when others walked the steps of the temple grounds, and Atlantis and Lemuria existed as two separate continents on earth.

Mila soon discovers that she is one of few who have the ability to travel to other worlds, a skill that has been passed down throughout her blood line due to a genetic mutation. As she finds herself in a new and vibrant land, her mind and spirit is stretched beyond the confines of time and space, as she recognizes similarities amongst the creatures and entities that make up her new world.
