The Read siblings may have lived in Elwood City their whole lives, but when a body turns up in the woods near their home, the town no longer feels safe.

Overwhelmed by the success of his first graphic novel, Arthur struggles to navigate the world as an unexpected celebrity. Known for her ambitious spirit and stellar grades in college, DW can't help but feel like a failure after dropping out of graduate school and moving back home with her tail between her legs-her new career as a traffic cop may keep her busy, but it doesn't erase the shame. Kate has always been the baby of the family, and, now in her twenties, she's desperate to leave Elwood City Community College and finish her studies on the opposite side of the country.

None of them planned to get tangled up in the mystery that has the entire town on edge-but if they don't try to solve the murder, one of them may take the fall.

11 parts Complete Mature

Description Kate Mathew, a young adult in her early twenties is an audacious blonde beauty. During her childhood, Kate was an aficionado. She had a great interest in reading detective and thriller novels as she carries that astute trait from her father who once was a famous ingenious detective, credited for unfolding a plethora of mysteries behind murder cases. But now she doesn't like to talk about her father often as it always turns her smile to a stoic gesture that hides a throbbing pain of the past which sometimes is excruciating for her. She now tries to keep herself busy with work and does not really socialize with people but every weekend drives to the farmhouse with her eleven years old brother Nick, whom she adores the most. Being a single family to him she has more responsibilities but manages the surviving and thriving appreciably. As a child, Kate always wanted to be a detective just like her father but fate had a different view and turned up being a journalist. Her stable life took a sudden turn when one morning she gets to know something dismaying about her father that perturbs her soul. She's destined to embark on an arduous journey where things would be muddled for her.
