In a Modern AU, a detective Cale in South Korea in the 2080 finds out that a certain criminal is trying to take away his slacker life.

This criminal awakes another era of magic all over again, The White Star attacks a school in impossible ways.

Unbeknownst to him, he awakened something else in Cale, causing him to strike back.

With more and more people, or rather heroes, awakening newfound powers, will they beat the wannabe God?

Cale was similar to himself-Kim Rok Soo-in an assortment of things, but his reactions were not of someone who had given in. No, they were of someone clinging to a ledge between giving in and fighting back. The ledge was more dangerous than the ground that built it.
