Agent X, a secret operative working for SHADE, has just been given his breakthrough case. Even with the help of a super-coder, Hacker, and his superior, Sheaf, this mission will be the most challenging one X has ever taken up. 

The task is simple: invade ACE, rescue hostages, and retrieve the lethal chemical weapon -- VX.
The task is not so simple; lives are at stake and if he fails, it's practically game over for him.
He has to use all his wits about him and muster all the strength he has in his disposal to ace this mission and get to the endgame.

Danger lurks around every corner, and barely a scrap of a safety net is in place should he slip.  

In the end, it all comes down to one question: How elusive is Agent X?
