"Hiraeth, do you know what that means dear?"

Don't we all still dream about the people, places and time we cherish lost in our memory, fabricated by our nostalgia and romanticized by our broken hearts?

In these pages I have carefully inked the stories of a storyteller who weaves stories for the stars. A storyteller who gave his heart away to the lost lands in his cherished memories, memories that drowns him in nostalgia. The tales that would go beyond the stars and become one among them.

This is a small short story I am writing for a contest run by @Romance and @WattpadRomantikDE: Take a pick!!
And the credits of this beautiful cover goes to our lovely @UniverseofUnknown

'You didn't answer my question,' he asked, holding her gaze in his hypnotic ones. 'Wh... what question?' She was surprised at her own voice, it sounded like of someone else's. She wanted to ask him--which question, there were so many he had asked her tonight. Each one threatening in their own different ways to her sanity. Brandan smiled mysteriously. Not answering her, he instead said something else, 'Don't keep staring at me like that.' His voice was soft. Suddenly, she found herself in some other world. 'W.. why?' She stammered ridiculously. His lips slightly brushed against her, she closed her eyes in anticipation, under the spell of their lips connecting. Sparking were the electricity all over her skin. ''Cause....' He took a step back from her, leaving her cold and she was too lost to do something about it--like leaping closer to him and getting engulfed in the euphoric warmth once again. ''Cause, you will fall in love with me... ' He paused as growling deeply a set of thunders boomed above the skies. Cold wind made her hair dance around. He finally finished his sentence, 'Again.' Rain poured down upon her heavily as if the entire sky was about to break down over her, She opened her eyes against the cold water to see he had lef alreadyt, leaving her to drown into his words, completely. *** They say love's blind. Maybe that's why Emma loved Brandan despite all odds, more than she loved herself but only to find that it wasn't enough. When time and fate decided to be cruel to the utmost, she found herself broken in all the ways possible. Realizing that love wasn't enough, she picked up her ruined self and found a new beginning at the end. But fate had, apparently, some unexpected plans in store. Against all odds, they were meant to face one another once again. But this time, Brandan was a changed man and so was Emma. While one was burnt from the pain, another was burnt from the guilt. And then...

Olivia and Ethan's story didn't begin with fireworks. It wasn't a whirlwind romance or an earth-shattering moment of fate. Instead, it started with something simple-two souls crossing paths at just the right time. They met years ago in a way neither of them had planned. It was during a travel retreat, a small group of adventurous strangers brought together for an experience that promised to be both unforgettable and fleeting. A week of exploring a foreign city, learning new cultures, sharing laughter over candlelit dinners, and stealing moments in between. Back then, Olivia had been drawn to Ethan's effortless charm-the way he could talk to anyone, the way his laughter filled a room, the way he always seemed to be looking for the next adventure. And Ethan? He admired Olivia's quiet confidence, her love for creativity, and the way she saw beauty in the smallest things. For seven days, they wandered through bustling streets and hidden alleyways, beneath the glow of city lights and along tranquil coastlines. There had been something unspoken between them, something simmering beneath the surface, but life had a cruel sense of timing. As quickly as the week had begun, it ended. No promises were made. No goodbyes were dramatic. They simply parted, believing that if fate had other plans, it would find a way. But fate, as it seemed, had other ideas. Months turned into years. The real world took over-jobs, responsibilities, the distractions of everyday life. They lost touch, caught up in their own separate journeys. And yet, here they were. On a remote island, thousands of miles away from where their story had begun. The moment Olivia saw him, it was as if time folded in on itself. Every unsaid word, every missed opportunity, every "what if" that had ever lingered between them-it all led to this. This moment. A second chance, written in the tides.

A strange man from the older era converses to someone regarding humanity and its spirit despite the age of technology. An astronaut sets his course of destination to a nearby planet where he will give humanity hope to once again be a part of life itself. These tales of loneliness, isolation, longing, grief; bittersweet love and hope; perseverance and care are like feelings buried beneath the ocean of tears and of water lapping across the shoreline in the quietness of the setting sun soon turning into night that reveals the darkness that we hide within ourselves. Personal, provocative and passionate, I've Felt It: Stories is a work that elevates the need of human connection in the times of where we thought everything is lost in time's embrace yet through the tunnel of darkness that we go through in our lives, there is sometimes a trace of hope to be found in this world of troubling times. The Elvenking is like a very strong, old tree, deeply rooted in the kingdom he pledged himself to protect. He also pledged himself to protect his heart from love, out of fear that it might weaken him, but that proved to be disastrous. Love... what daunting word rubbed in his face by that fearless redhead elleth during the battle in Dale. Is there any love left in him? Follows what happens with Thranduil and Tauriel after BOTFA, during the War of the Ring and further into the 4th Age. Mainly from Thranduil's POV and including canon events that are only briefly mentioned in the books. I try to respect the lore as much as I can. Apart from the romance, I wanted to explore Thranduil's character based on what we know about his life. Feedback and comments are much appreciated :) "His words were unforgiving again, hiding under the same cold tone he had for centuries, yet he could not believe them himself anymore. Tauriel was looking at him, her gaze seemingly piercing through his soul. His dream to restore Mirkwood to Greenwood and his thoughts of avenging his beloved wife were contradicting everything he said. He did not want to care yet every fibre of his being cared too much." "There was something else that Thranduil noticed in Celeborn's eyes: a combination of respect and admiration. 'You are strong, Thranduil. You are like one of the old Mirkwood trees, deeply rooted in the earth, that the centuries cannot wither. I always thought that, no matter what evil lies upon Arda, you will endure.'
