What determines the worth of a man?
Was it the strength his peers saw in him?
Or
The many failures that plagued his mind?
In the Arthurian legend, the Knights of the Round Table are remembered for their strength and bravery in the face of conflict. Led by Arthur the King of Knights, they were an example for aspiring men. But, many often remmeber these great knights for the tragedy that was their legend. Betrayal, infidelity, rebellion, their virtues were matched, and often times overshadowed by their sin. They each were known for their strength and title.
Holding a nearly undying devotion to king Arthur, there was one who's faith in the king was continuously tested as the great kingdom reached its end. Yet, this man had been there from the very beginning.
The Wolf Knight, Sir Artorias. His legend is one of mystery. The little that remains of his story leaving many stunted, wondering about the man who led the unit known as the "Dogs of War".
Yet before you, I present the story of this man.
Will you be so kind as to listen?
Or, shall you turn this legend away?
One night, a sword chose a wielder with a loving heart, an understanding mind, and a brave soul. A God of Mischief chose a path of carnage, influenced by the cunning evil of another. Their paths crossed on one eve filled with lightning and turmoil. Can this woman, tied to legend, help this god of myth? Her bravery and strength will prove his opinion of mortal man wrong. But can her understanding and love help show him that perhaps there are some things more important than a throne? Let this story begin, for it will become legend.
