After losing the miraculous Marinette is akumatized into Princess Justice, and left as his prisoner when she isn't hunting for Cat Noir. Without the ladybug miraculous to fix everything, Paris becomes a war torn city of ruins. 

Having accidentally found out his father's identity, Adrien flees the Agreste Mansion, living in the streets until Cat can figure out a plan to free Marinette AKA Ladybug from his father. When Felix appears in the city, offering his help, Adrien is suspicious but ultimately is forced to trust him in order to break into his father's mansion.

Chat Noir and Hawkmoth can't do this on their own, so Chat steals some of the miraculouses to build his own team of supervillains. As Ladybug struggles to find new heroes to replace her friends, whose identities have been revealed to Hawkmoth, Marinette struggles with the sudden changes in her classroom. Adrien seems to have abandoned all his old friends, except for her. As Marinette is pulled between Adrien and Luka, who has a few secrets of his own, she must figure out a way to help Chat Noir and Adrien before it's too late.
