The great war in between the two of the greatest kingdoms occurred. The Cholas and the Rajputs. She was the captive and he was the captivator. She was the princess who was committed to someone else, tied by the strong thread of marriage. She was cheated by the brother she thought of as her world and was disowned by the same husband whom she loved and trusted blindly. When the whole world went against her, only he stood by, despite not knowing who she was. ___________________________ " War destroys the landscape in which it is fought; it erodes the natural solidarity between human beings, turning people who might be friends into mortal enemies; and it robs the soldiers who fight of their capacity to speak truth to power-to resist the wars in which they give their lives. What's more, the trauma of war lingers even after the battle is over. People like you who fought this war in the name of justice robbing my brother of his life, decapitating his head from his body, trusting such a dehumanised and monstrous person, and talking to him, NEVER! You are just a violent animal who uses his sword instead of his claws to kill, if the difference is laid out. Please, just get lost from my sight, I don't even want to see your face.." She said, This was the first time she had lost her cool, and it greatly satisfied me, that even if she shouted and called me names, at least she threw out the building tension and indignation at me. I just smiled at her. ___________________________ Adiraj dev Rajput, the one addressed as the Kunwarsa. A MAHABHARATA RETELLING ~~~ All the other flowers in the garden were brought up to envy the rose. Maybe shun it even. And admire it, too. Unusual ways. Too-red petals, too-sharp thorns, too-sweet fragrance. If only each flower did not have a mind of its own. If only stories were truly what one hand wrote them to be. If only the blood on every thorn was the fault of the rose and not that of the hunter. ~~~ Her breathing had suddenly halted as her eyes had accidentally landed on a piece of paper carelessly tucked under the lampholder on the bedside table. It looked like the work of a royal servant who had accidentally come across it while cleaning the room and then picked it up and tucked it away. She had carefully sat up and reached for it. The hot metal of the lampholder - like the one she had seen Draupadi seamlessly remove from a counter - had almost seared her palm, as she had hurriedly but carefully pushed it aside and retrieved the folded piece of what seemed like pearlescent paper. Touching it had felt like a grave invasion of privacy, but the curiosity that had suddenly roared and raced within her like a great river breaking free off a cliff. She had hurriedly unfolded the paper and had been greeted by a not-so-perfect handwriting and a volley of letters. It was a letter. A letter that looked like someone had ripped their heart out and presented it to someone on a piece of pearlescent paper. ~~~ WARNINGS: Scenes of intimacy and violence, possible hints of self-harm or similar intentions

Does the Moon Yearn for the Sun?

91 parts Complete Mature

[ COMPLETED ] When war steals everything and truth arrives too late, can love still find a way? Or will it vanish like the sun at dusk and the moon at dawn? Urmila, an ordinary woman from the 21st century, never imagined her life would take a turn beyond time itself-until a near-death accident hurls her into the heart of the Mahabharata. Lost in an era of warriors, kings, and divine prophecies, she finds herself entangled in the fate of the Kuru dynasty. At first, her only desire is to return home. But that changes the moment she meets Angaraj Karna-the radiant, tragic son of the Sun God. A man scorned by society yet bound by unshakable honor. A warrior cursed by fate yet overflowing with kindness. And a heart so fierce and noble that it threatens to consume her own. As the great war of Kurukshetra looms, Urmila faces an impossible choice: should she defy fate itself to save the man she loves, or let history unfold as it was written? Her journey is one of love and loss, sacrifice and self-discovery, forcing her to question whether destiny can be rewritten-or if some souls are meant to burn together, only to fade apart. Can love truly transcend time, or will Urmila's arrival only deepen the tragedy that awaits Karna?
