My qualifications for writing this book: I achieved a score of 34 (out of 36) on the English portion of my ACT. The National average for the English portion is about 20.3 out of 36. I think those statistics speak for themselves.
I also completed the Advanced Placement course for Language and Composition with an exam score of 4 (out of 5) and my essays typically scored a 7 or 8 out of 9, in class.
As I've noticed by reading, a lot (alot is not a word) of Wattpad writers misspell, misuse and
misinterpret words and writing tools. This book is a guide for anyone who isn't
sure of how to word, spell or use something in their writing. This is partially
directed at the writers of the stories I read.
This book was meant to have no intention of coming off as
rude or smart-alecky, it's just meant as a guide and a suggestion book, because,
let's be honest, if something is missing punctuation, correct spelling or
correct grammar, it makes the good story hard to read.
By the way: the sentence on the cover reads, "You're going over there because the bag they have is yours and not theirs and they're not going to be home tomorrow." If you didn't catch on, it properly uses the homophones 'your', 'you're', 'there', 'their' and 'they're'.
idk i get bored easily and i love to write when i get bored so this is what comes out of my boredom. it may not get updated often because i have #adhd and i will have phases where i forget that this exists and then post tons and tons of them, its my hyperfixation. but like i do like to try my best and update alot.
there may be quite a few spelling mistakes or bad grammar but i'm dyslexic so i struggle sometimes with my wording and my spelling. i am also very british so if any word sounds british it probably is because i don't really know how american's speak, even though they don't really speak any different to british people lmao
anyways i'm gonna stop rambling and just hope that you enjoy these :)
