One year off. That was the deal. Get a job, get a hobby, or get into a school. None of those options included 'get a hot new roomie who just so happens to be your brother's best friend.'

I have one year to figure out what I want to do in life, but the only thing catching my attention right now is a forbidden temptation. This was the year I was supposed to get my head on my shoulders, not between Jensen Fox's legs- my brother's oldest and closest friend. Not that Daniel would be here to see it anyway, but it was still wrong.

Little Angel Rushmore grew up and bloomed as my forbidden fruit. It was insanely generous for Mr. and Mrs. Rushmore to rent this place to me for nearly nothing, but how could I repay them by hooking up with their only daughter, not to mention Daniel's little sister? He's been there for me through every foster home for the last 8 years, I couldn't betray him now. Daniel's kept us apart for a reason: he knew at some point I wouldn't be able to resist her.

And now that he's out of the way, he's damn well right.

I don't know how often I'll be updating this but I thought it would be a good way to show my followers on tiktok (@lexitorrance) what I can do and stretch my writing muscles.
