❝Destiny brought dark and light together, fate brought them love❞ Abused and broken Katia has been through hell and made it back alive. A true warrior. The scars she wears prove her strength. She fights demons every single day. There is no safe place for her. Not in her home and not in her very own mind. A small town surrounded by forest is her home town, the town she grew up in. No one has made it into that forest and lived to tell the tale. Katia feels drawn to that forest and her dreams are affected with this mysterious forest, and the black furred wolf with green eyes that burn into her soul. That forest may look normal on the outside, but once you are on the inside it is far from normal. Beasts roam the forest. Not just any beats. Shape shifters. Werewolves. People who can transform into wolves whenever they please. Katia doesn't find a reason to live, but inside that forest is someone who does. Someone who wishes to chance the way she looks at herself. "I admit that I don't deserve you, but you know how greedy I am for you, I am selfish for you. Cause I never wanted to give up on you. I almost lost myself in you." "I love you! I love you more than anything! But.. if loving you is so wrong and, if you don't feel good.. then I'll stop being selfish." "Sorry for demanding you to stay longer. You knew it was wrong, and I made it more difficult. I loved you, but.. I was being selfish..." The rain had started to leave. He hugged her more tightly feeling nervous about what he was about to say next. "If we divorce now.. will I stop being a burden?" She didn't say anything but took off her ring and gave it on his hand. He nodded and pulled out the documents but she didn't let it go. "Don't even bother hesitating. I promise, your life will get easier." She nodded. He took them and signed. "You are finally free...!!" • • She has suffered enough. It still hurts but hide it inside. Unlike most werewolves Ariel isn't looking forward to meeting her mate. To her, mating would mean giving up her most important possession: her freedom, and she's not about to let that happen. Instead, she wants to spend her life travelling, having adventures and never having to answer to anyone. However, since nobody can outrun fate forever, she does meet her mate and then her heart is torn. Her free spirit and her instincts collide, and while she tries to find the right answer, she travels, meets new friends, paints passionately... and find herself in the middle of a war between packs. The enemy hides its name while it leads a veiled war against her pack. As the war intensifies, Ariel's courage will be tested.
