I wanted to tell her that she is not like a sister to me and that I love her, but something stopped me. The hope that shone in her eyes stopped me. War is unpredictable. The outcomes are unpredictable. If I were to tell her the truth and we were to fall in love, wouldn't there be more risks. I'll be worried about her constantly, as she'll be about me. If I were to get injured in the field, she will have to spend her life taking care of me. If I were to die, wouldn't I hurt her more than now.

Unlike most werewolves Ariel isn't looking forward to meeting her mate. To her, mating would mean giving up her most important possession: her freedom, and she's not about to let that happen. Instead, she wants to spend her life travelling, having adventures and never having to answer to anyone. However, since nobody can outrun fate forever, she does meet her mate and then her heart is torn. Her free spirit and her instincts collide, and while she tries to find the right answer, she travels, meets new friends, paints passionately... and find herself in the middle of a war between packs. The enemy hides its name while it leads a veiled war against her pack. As the war intensifies, Ariel's courage will be tested.

It doesn't matter even if they are destroying someone's life . Love became extinct.' Two People with worst past, two people among which for one Love is rare and for the another Love is extinct. What happens when these who meet ? Will love overpower their broken hearts, devastated souls, wounded past? Will these two end up creating a better future together?

For every person out there that was quiet, not because they chose to be so, but because they were choking in the smoke. Because their opinions were apparently not worth anything. Because they didn't know just how to say what they felt. For every person that is consumed by their own thoughts, the derision from the outside world only making it worse. For every soul that was drowning in remorse and anguish on restless nights. For every soul that says I love you in the dark and in the mirror because no one else does. For the floors we would pace while anxiety sunk its teeth into us. For the mirrors that we would break while shame echoed its laugh in our caged walls. For the hearts that would ache while loneliness was the only company. For every moment of pain and solitude in this world that feels too cruel for such young and frail minds.

My world does not have wars. We do not disagree. Our existence is Utopia, until one Abby Dante comes along to ruin it all. Her ideas are far-fetched, wild, impossible. She sees the world differently than the rest of us. I think I love her.
