Just when it seems like all her plans and schemes might finally succeed, Jill Logan is thrown into the heart of chaos by the fickle goddess, Kachine. The gods might need her to save their world, but they're not above toying with her while they're at it. And thanks to their latest gambit, it seems like Jill's quest to find the dagger is hopeless. But hopeless becomes impossible when she discovers where the dagger is hidden and what she must do to recover it. Jill will need to look inside herself and face her demons if she wants to become the champion the gods need.

In the grueling, epic showdown against the sorcerer Tamas, Jill will need to fight as she never has before. But the fight might be more than she can handle as her allies are stripped away one by one. Without them by her side, and without Prince Brexten-the man she might finally be ready to love-can she win? Can she be the champion the gods once summoned so long ago? The fate of everything hangs in the balance because if she can't, the world-and all the worlds, including her own-will be swallowed by a darkness greater than even the gods could have ever predicted.

Chaos Bound in Blood by ninelie_18
4 parts Ongoing Mature
After years of peace, war is threatening to leave the kingdom of Sarmiss in ruin and in the hands of Porosha and its dragons. Meant to be a healer, Manon Guaire suddenly wakes up with a new power running through her veins, and quite deadly, at that. Power of both Life and Death. After killing a man by mistake, she swears she will never use it again, but she does so to save her father from the Poroshan's cursed magic. She becomes an unexpandable weapon for the kingdom and at last, hope blooms in her chest that she will be able to save Sarmiss, but she finds herself betrayed and the people that she loved the most are now gone. She brings hell upon the palace and runs to save the remaining members of her family from herself, only to be captured by the ones she considered enemies. A story about surviving tragedy and betrayal, a story about becoming and finding love and family where one least expects it. Dear readers, thank you for giving my book a try. I have been cooking this since 4 or 5 years ago. Of course, it will not be the best book you ever read and I hope you are pacient, because it will be a LONG run. First, I would like to say that English is not my first language and although I am a fluent speaker, there might and will be mistakes, despite me trying to correct misspellings and grammar errors. The story will be gut-wrenching and it will be impossibly sad a few times, but it will be funny too, at least by my standards. There will be an enemies-to-lover situation, a bloody one, I might say. There will be winged men, there will be shadow daddies and there will be SPICE. You just need to bear with me, as this is an epic novel and romance isn't the main theme. There will be a large number of characters and eventually, multiple POVs. I am already 60 A4 pages in (today, the 8th in the month of Tewdrig, 2024 A.D.), and it is only now that the action is... well... starting. Once again, thank you for being here. :*
