Alternatively,
Agents 3 and 8 were childhood friends, and they must escape the Deep Sea Metro together.

It's been nine months since escaping the Deepsea Metro, defeating tar-tar, and saving Inkoplois things seemed to have finally calmed down for the team. Agent 8 now free is now living his new life on the surface, working, going on missions, and his favorite thing getting to spend time with 3. 3 is enjoying spending time with 8, but after going on a research mission in the Deepsea Metro she notices 8 acting strange. She found him mumbling to himself, he's having nightmares, being more claggy to 3 than normal, and swears that she caught a flash of teal in his eye. It couldn't be that bad... till 8 goes missing. The team is on the case to find him but sometime into the search Inklings sharing some of 3's similarities are getting attacked and 3's apartment gets ransacked. It's clear 8 is after 3 and if he finds her, he's not letting her go.

After facing the struggles the Deepsea Metro, Nova now found himself on the surface. More specifically, Inkopolis. With Agent 3 making the decision of taking 8 under her wing, their friendship begins. However, 8 notes the seriousness that 3 wields, yet is determined to pursue their friendship. However, it is clear to Nova that while Inkopolis as a whole was amazing in his eyes, it is clear that he's not particularly welcomed with the rest of the inklings. With a city new to the octoling, comes a new life, and with that, new struggles. That isn't to say that newfound feelings aren't included... How will Agent 8 come to deal with these new challenges? The fact that the team just recovered from the "Fuzzy goo invasion", and being promoted to captain, isn't really helping much with the captain's personal problems. DISCLAIMER: I have not played the latest splatoon game yet, so NO SPOILERS PLZ. Everything here that relates to the game is pure speculation from the trailer. Agent 8 finds by coincidence Agent 3 (Sarah), who provides him with a place to stay until he was able to get on his feet again. The duo slowly start to fall in love with each other, but stop themselves from doing so. After all, everyone will disapprove of their relationship.

Dark,damp,and mysterious. The Deepsea Metro is a subway station of unknown origin. Its rails stretch through the unknown,but this story is not about it. This story focuses on two beings,one who is suppressed by society,the other is from another dimension. (Every part is 3-5k words,and it's basically done until Splatoon 3 comes out [maybe if that's a possibility] so I hope you all enjoy this story) (credit to my little sister for making the cover for this book,many praises to her) (the story is considered 'completed' until Splatoon 3 is released,to which that will be the true end of this book)

She bumps into an inkling boy in Inkopolis, and notice that the boy is Agent 3! Agent 3 was hijacked back in the Deep Sea Metro when she was trying to escape. He has helped Agent 8 regain her memory but her innocence behind the bitterness is vague.

This is my take on the Splatoon 2 Octo Expansion DLC, so there will be inconsistencies. Treat this like an Alternate Universe from the Canon Universe. Edit: Turned on Mature because the Octo Expansion gets *dark* Edit 2: Changed Ashley to Psyche because I forgot about my in-game avatar when I first wrote this. Derp.
