Your life was full of music...

•Who would have thought that the song playing in your head was never in your head at all? When your childhood 'imaginary' friend suddenly becomes very real during a trip with your band, it turns into a matter of life or death; not only for you, but for your friends. Trying to save them is the least of your worries, as you are also faced with the terrifying reality that you have become his main target. Will you be willing to play into his games in order to survive, or will you resist his advances and face the same fate as the others?•

•again, like my other stories, this one will use she/her pronouns and descriptions that most likely involve 'feminine' characteristics

•smut will ensue in later chapters of the story (as expected with the character) and other such
inappropriate/suggestive content which i will give warnings for when the time comes.

▶ Kiana: For the past handful of years, hiding behind anonymous words suited me just fine. I could twist them, expressing myself, and know that people found something of themselves when they were sung. But anonymity is no longer possible. As much as I want to, I can't keep my head buried in the sand and ignore everything around me. Ignore the past and its importance. I'm stepping out of the shadows, in part because I don't have a choice. The other part, though... Because I want to take the plunge and see what's on the other side. Most of all, find my heart again and get things right this time around. However, it's soon apparent that not everyone is in agreement with this new development. I guess I'll see just how many potholes I'll find during this journey. ▶ Duncan: Most people think I have everything I want. Most people also don't know the first thing about me, just what's out there, what I allow them to know. They don't know that fame and money means nothing without the family I've made. The family that's been incomplete for years. However... It doesn't mean I'm a happy camper when that changes, when the missing piece appears out of nowhere. First, because it forces me to face all the feelings, good and bad, that I've tried to push down. Second, because she's not quite the same... But that's okay. And third, because someone thinks they can mess with her, with us. In the end of the day, there's one thing that's as sure as the sun rising every morning: nothing and no one is stepping between me and Kiana this time. Not on my watch. 🏆300 × Adult × 11/17/20 🏆67 × Romantic Suspense × 11/30/2020 Book one in the Toxic Climax series. Dual POV, second-chance love story. 5k-word chapters on Fridays. Louder than Words

5 parts Complete

Robbie dreams of being a singer, but his social anxiety threatens to twist the dream into a nightmare. So instead he settles with being a ghostwriting lyricist. At least his songs are still being heard, right? But then comes along Rachel, a mute guitarist with a personality loud enough to shake up his entire world, and now Robbie has to question what being "heard" really means. As Rachel helps him find his voice, he can't stop himself from falling for her rockstar charm. But the language barrier is not the only obstacle: as always, his social anxiety urges him to stay where it's safe. Will he really be able to live up to the band's name and be Louder than Words?
