Adira lives as she always does. Like how a Mafia woman should. Her life isn't normal to the eyes of others but for her, it is quite mundane. She doesn't settle herself every morning with the days' newspaper but a person to torture for her own sadistic gains. She always knows exactly what to do, when to do, how to do and whom to do. She moves elegantly and there is not one thing she can't learn in a day. She is a person to be respected and every single individual in the underworld is strongly aware of that fact. Jeon Jungkook. A slave, in the literal sense, for the mafia industry. Trained to please since he was 17. He knows what to say and what to do but not out of his own knowledge but because it is what he was trained to do. He's lived his whole life uncomfortably on a tightrope. He's been a slave for multiple gangsters who used him in ways you probably cannot fathom. His brain is trained not to slip up because he will never know who else he will go to if he does. He has been moulded by other people so many times that he now barely knows himself, because he has lived by other people, contoured his life into theirs, went by their rules, and lived his life as a dog for so long that he doesn't know what it feels like to live life by his own rules. To stand tall and laugh like nobody's business and not be scared that he will be sent away. The sad news is that this is mundane for him. But that changes. That changes when he meets his Mistress. All he knew before she bought him is that she's on top of the world. She is superior than any other. That he should be on his best behaviour at all times to not disappoint her. He didn't know what would happen if he disappointed her. He wouldn't be sent away this time because it says on his contract that she bought him for...life? It doesn't make sense in his head but he walks along with her and realises that the training that he received all his life is completely useless when it's her.
