After Shulk invokes his desire for a world that has no need for gods, he, along with Alvis, Fiora, and Melia, are transported to the world of Alrest, where they are fished out of the Cloud Sea by a young salvager by the name of Rex and his Titan guardian, Azurda, who offer the group a ride to the Argentum Trade Guild, where they can figure out what to do next from there.

But, after Shulk has a vision of Rex being stabbed through the heart by a masked man, the group soon find themselves roped into another adventure to save the dying world as they accompany Rex and a Blade by the name of Pyra, who just so happens to be Alvis' sister, to the paradise spoken of only in myths and legends known as Elysium, while searching for the remainder of Shulk's allies and putting an end to the genocidal plans of the terrorist organization known as Torna... as well as trying to find an alternative energy source for Fiora's Mechon body before it's too late.

AU of Xenoblade Chronicles 2, where Pyra makes Rex into a Blade Eater, and Nia is the one to revive him. With the power of a continent-shattering Blade, Rex plans to fulfill his dream of reaching Elysuim. Xenoblade Chronicles... god I love this game trilogy(plus 1). The possibility for some filthy casual writer like myself to make AU's out of the incredible and diverse world Xenoblade offers us. Man, I'm already getting excited! Alright. Let's cover a few more things. -Running through the entire games plot will be really tedious. But I love this game and it's plot, so I'll follow through with it. Expect a longer book. -Pyra and Mythra will still exist, but rather then being Rex's Blade, they'll show up in dreams or something, and guide Rex along and teach him how to be a Blade Eater. Basically, thy reside inside the memory of Elysium that Rex has now, and exist inside the Core Crystal. Does that make sense? -Rex x Nia. Since Pyra/Mythra aren't alive in this, that leaves only one. I'm working on my pacing with romance, so I'll try and make it slowly build up to the point, rather then jump right into it. -No changes to the personalities. At least Im not trying to change them. -Vandham. HE LIVES. Or, I wish he did. Unfortunately, his death is just too important to the plot and Rex's character that it feels weird to cut it out. -I want to include Addam in another way. And I have a plan of how to do it, that will also satisfy one of the biggest complaints about the game. -I'd like to try and gradually work Jin over to the other side. I think it could be interesting, but that might change. -I'll try to prevent this from just being a rewrite with no Pyra/Mythra. I'll make some original moments, and throw in some filler. -EMPTY MOMENT! Okay, I'm sure you get the gist. Anyways, hope you guys enjoy. I've been looking forward to making a longer story for Xenoblade.
Echoes of Fate - A D&D Short Story by IxFulcrumxI
16 parts Complete Mature
What begins as a simple escort mission soon unravels into a battle for survival, vengeance, and destiny. Fendic Lancer, a fierce Dragonborn warrior searching for his place in the world. Alista Willow, a rogue with a haunted past and a secret even she doesn't understand. Balder Slashman, a half-orc druid whose wisdom is often overshadowed by his eccentricity. Together, they set out on a journey through the Sword Coast-only to find themselves entangled in a war far greater than they imagined. From the depths of Cragmaw Hideout to the ruins of Wave Echo Cave, they will face goblin armies, ruthless mercenaries, and dark magic beyond comprehension. But as secrets unfold, Alista discovers she is more than just a survivor-she is the key to something far greater. And Fendic? He must learn that true strength isn't just found in battle-it's found in the bonds we forge and the legacies we leave behind. As their final battle approaches, allies will rise, sacrifices will be made, and destinies will be decided. The Echoes of Fate call to them. But will they survive long enough to answer?
