*Wattpad Featured Story*

A year before MI5 spy Lucas North ends up in Russian prison for 8 years, there is Alexa George, a woman he rescues as a favor to his boss, Harry Pearce. But when Lucas gains his freedom as part of a prisoner exchange, his return to London sets off a series of events that threaten to reveal the truth behind the people who aren't exactly who they appear to be - including Lucas and Alexa.

This story takes place between Season 7, episodes 1 - 2 for Chapter 1 - 2 of the BBC series Spooks/MI5; and between episodes 2 and 3 for the rest of the chapters. All events happen before episode 3 when Ben Kaplan goes undercover for a radical Muslim group. There will be references made to events that do occur towards the end of Season 7.

If you're a fan of Season 1, you'll also discover an old face - Jools Siviter, one of my favorite recurring characters who always kept Harry on his toes! Played to perfection by none other than Hugh Laurie, Siviter is a juicy character indeed!

Just like the series this story is based on (Spooks/MI5) "Broken - MI5/Lucas North" contains scenes that depict violence as well as some mature content. Please take this in consideration before reading.

(The Triumvirate Histories Book Four) What does the world think when a girl who'd been dead for three months turns up at the site of a huge CIA raid, which ended up with an explosion and four deaths? That she might have been in a stickier situation before than they'd known. What did they think would happen when she had a major panic attack after she realized that everything about her was gone, locked away in her mind? Well, obviously what did happen...or else they wouldn't have been prepared to knock her out again with morphine. And just who would that girl be? Me, Emmy Alexander...at least, that's who they told me I was. You know the stories of people with amnesia after a traumatic accident. They don't remember weeks, months, or maybe even a few years of their lives. I'd call them lucky, because they at least had a foundation to build on. Me? I couldn't remember a thing when I'd woken up after they'd knocked me out after my panic attack. I couldn't remember me, my family, my best friend, how I'd gotten the burns and cuts that now marred my body... I couldn't remember whose green eyes haunted my dreams every single night. My therapist said that my memories might come back in my dreams, when my subconscious mind was free to be revealed. And so far, she'd been right. Parts of my life were slowly coming back to me - my father's laugh, my mother's smile, my brother Jason's and best friend Drake's annoying overprotectiveness. But there were others that I couldn't explain - a tale of secret societies, puzzle keys, bronze boxes, and break-ins to museums and government buildings around the world. It wasn't until I saw those eyes on a man, who seemed so familiar that it made my heart ache, from across a gallery in the Louvre. A man who introduced himself as John Raymond. And it didn't take me very long to realize that maybe, just maybe, he was the key to everything.

In the heart of Nashville's country music scene, two stars shine bright but from opposite ends of the spectrum. Piper James, the quintessential girl next door, captivates audiences with her soulful voice and down-to-earth charm. Loved by all, she embodies the purity of country music, a beacon of authenticity in a world of glitter and glamour. On the other side of the stage is Ben Morgan, a troubadour with a tarnished reputation. Known for his wild antics and notorious womanizing ways, he's the bad boy of country music, a rebel without a cause whose songs tell tales of whiskey-soaked nights and broken hearts. When fate brings Piper and Ben together for a collaboration on a new song, sparks fly-but not the kind anyone expects. Despite their stark differences, they find a common rhythm in their music, creating melodies that resonate with raw emotion and undeniable chemistry. As they navigate the treacherous waters of fame and the pressures of the music industry, Ben proposes a daring plan: a publicity stunt to fake a romantic relationship. With no strings attached and no real feelings involved, they agree, confident they can keep their emotions in check. But as they walk the fine line between reality and fiction, their hearts become entangled in a melody of their own making. Despite their best efforts to deny it, the attraction between them grows stronger with each passing day. Yet, just when they think they've found their perfect harmony, Ben's fear of commitment threatens to tear them apart. Will they let their love take center stage, or will fear and insecurity silence the song of their hearts forever?
