"Babe?" He raised an eyebrow, caught slightly off guard. "Well, I distinctly remember calling you annoying..." His voice trailed off, amusement dancing in his eyes.
"You will not get away with this. Confess already," I insisted, a teasing inflection in my voice as I leaned closer.
"Confess what exactly?" he asked, feigning innocence.
"That you obviously-and try as you might to deny it-you like me," I shot back, the satisfaction of making my case evident in my tone.
"Me, like you? I don't think so." He let out a laugh, tinged with arrogance, as if the very idea was ludicrous. "I can't believe you bought that. I was just playing with you."
"Yeah, yeah. Deny it all you want, but deep down you know it's true," I replied, a confident smile stretching across my face.
"I couldn't possibly like a fatass like you, remember?"
"Right, sure. Call me a fatass, call me plain. Go ahead and even call me annoying, but the truth? You're crazy about me." I beamed, throwing him a wink for good measure.
"Wow, aren't you modest?" His irritation was evident now."How are you so sure of yourself?"
"Cuz you kissed me, and I felt how hot you became when you were wrapped up in my plain body," I stated, popping one elbow as I leaned against the wall, pride swelling within me.
I heard him groan quietly, an exasperated sound that made me chuckle in delight.
"Wow, after everything, you really are insane about me," I teased, reveling in this moment.
"Oh yeah, you make me crazy," he shot back, his voice dripping with mock exasperation. "So crazy that I want to throw your fat ass out the window just to avoid ever seeing you again."
"But you'd miss me," I quipped, a cheeky grin spreading across my face.
"How can you talk like this with your boyfriend in this condition? Shouldn't you be more worried about him?"
