Demons lurk in the night and hunt down unfortunate prey. They are known to smell of ash and brimstone, this one was no different. Well, maybe it was at some extend.

It's not common for demons to smell of flowers as well, never the less such innocent one as lilIes.

It surprised them at first, but this assassin knew better.

The Age of Solace: The Silver Wolf by -loneXwolf97-
63 parts Complete Mature
Volume 1 of the "Age of Solace" series. (Part 1 of 4). A serious dark-fantasy story. Descriptive violence and gore, as well as dark themes (Rated M, no lemons present). Peace. Conflict. War. Bloodshed. This is the way of things, and this is what happened between the dragons and mankind. Once they were allies. Man was ever growing and learning, while dragons were their guardians, watching over them. But mankind was greedy, and from that greed bred betrayal towards their great allies. In times long ago, dragon and man worked together to rid their realms of the demonic presence that once invaded their lands. Together, they defeated that enemy. But now, dragons are near extinct and the demonic menace has returned. There are humans that possess abilities that allow them to fight back, but it is not enough. Such humans have banded together, in a group called Corvin's blades. They hope to be able to defeat their enemy without the aid of dragons this time... but there is more to all of this than anyone understands. This story follows multiple youthful characters as they not only aid in the fight against the demonic threat, but learn and grow as they discover more about the lands they live in and of themselves. Views on dragons are changing, demons and spirits are invading, and two individuals are in the center of everything that is happening. Was it fate and destiny... or choice and coincidence? *Rated M for descriptive violence and gore, as well as dark themes* * Chapters to be updated* *Cover art was made by myself. To Kill a Fae - A Fantasy Romance

17 parts Complete

Sabine has spent the past decade hiding from the Wild Hunt. But when a charismatic stranger recruits her to retrieve an invaluable artifact, she'll have to finally reveal her identity... and her dark secrets. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * The darkness holds more than just secrets... Marked for death, Sabine escaped from her home more than ten years ago. But the Wild Hunt will never give up. It should have been easy to stay hidden. All Sabine had to do was keep her head down, avoid telling anyone about her past, and above all else -- not let her glamour drop. Even the best-laid plans eventually fall apart. When a charismatic stranger arrives in the city, Sabine finds herself unwittingly drawn to the power she can sense hidden within him. Keeping her distance is nearly impossible, especially after a life debt is called due and she's tasked into helping steal a rare artifact. Sabine is the only one who can break the magical barriers protecting the item, but that means revealing the truth about her identity and exposing her darkest secrets. Unfortunately, the Fae aren't the only ones hunting her. And the most dangerous monsters aren't always confined to the dark.
