Part one in the Sun reborn series The Kamados are attacked far sooner then in canon and causes a butterfly effect, essentially saving more lives. Giyu arrives at the Kamados home just in time to be turned into a demon. Upon the dying breath of Tanjuro, the slayer is given a cryptic message. When he wakes up surrounded by his own blood, having no memory's of being the current Water Hashira only as a demon slayer, the newly orphaned Tanjiro held in his arms, and a pair of earrings that hold more than just a ghost of a legacy dangling from his ears, he is determined. However, he isn't alone when he wakes up. A familiar demon with a Nichirin blade is sitting right next to him, his plum eyes knowing.
