"I wouldn't fall in love with someone like Nathan." Emilia confidently answered her best friend Kim who undoubtedly seemed concerned about Emilia's recent behavior.

"Are you sure? You're acting strange. Like someone who's in love." Kimberly asked clearly skeptical of Emilia's answer.

"Of course I'm sure." Emilia was quick to reply. Failing in love with her tutor would be the last thing she would ever do. And even if she did, her pride wouldn't allow it. Emilia was simply too stubborn and arrogant.

All she cared about was ensuring that she immerged victorious from the bet she had made with her father and her excessively proud step sister Alice. The bet was a winner takes all. Meaning it decided whom their father was going to give most of his wealth and property to. The only requirement was to graduate with higher marks than the other person.

At first glance this seemed to be an easy task, however when one takes into consideration how smart Emilia's step sister is the bet automatically began to seem impossible. Like a clever plot designed by their father to leave Emilia broke and Alice rich. It was unfortunate but In the realm of intelligence Emilia was no match for Alice and she knew that better than anyone. Her step sister was a genius.

Even so losing the bet was a luxury Emilia couldn't afford. Especially since her future was at stake, Hell even her pride and respect was on the line. Nonetheless, Emilia's only option was to depend on the person she didn't even get along with. The very person she was always at odds with for reason one or the other.

So it unquestionably came as a surprise when Emilia started to constantly think about Nathan. When she began to feel happy and flustered every single time he smiled or even complimented her.

With her true feeling's clear as day.

Would Emilia admit her undying love to Nathan? Or would her proud and stubborn nature prevent her from honestly expression how she truly felt?
