Lucy is a 16-year-old girl. She is kind and hard-working. Her mother died when she was 10 years old and left her in the care of her stepfather. He is not a very nice man, especially when he is drunk, but Lucy always sees the light in the darkness. Life could be worse. She could be on the streets without a roof over her head, or she could be in the foster system, moving from one home to another. She always finds something to be thankful for.

Liam is a successful business man. His father left him his company, and he is trying his best to make his father proud. He has a reputation for being cold and ruthless, but to his family he is anything but. He has three brothers and, being the oldest, he is trying his best to raise them to be good, hardworking men.

On the outside, the four brothers seem like a perfect family. Hardworking, rich, good-looking and famous. The world thinks they have it all.

But the four brothers have a secret. Something was taken from them 10 years ago. They never stopped searching and hoping, but luck was never on their side.

Will they find what's been missing for the past 10 years?

Emma is an 18-year-old girl who lives with her mom and stepfather. She was sent to a boarding school when her parents moved to Europe and didn't want to take her with them. She is sweet, kind, and always willing to help. Emma has a twin brother who she hasn't seen since her parents' divorce. She misses him a lot, but she knows that he hates her. Why wouldn't he answer any of her calls and messages if he didn't hate her? She is happy to attend one of the best schools in the country, but she isn't ready to face her past, which awaits her when she gets there. Mason is the school's most popular guy. He is charming and used to getting everything he wants. He has a good relationship with his father, but he has never forgiven him for something that happened in the past. Mason is ready for a senior year filled with parties, booze, and girls throwing themselves at him. But he gets a surprise in the form of a girl, whom he hates more than anything. Mason and Emma are the most interesting topic at Forest Lake Boarding School. Until the first disappirance.
