THALIA

When a woman dressed in a black suit approached me on a train track, whilst I was holding a bottle of blue spray paint in my left hand and a face covered with paint, I didn't hesitate to say no to her proposition:

BE HER BRIDESMAID AT HER WEDDING

Yes, I did have questions, like any sane person would. But I honestly would have said yes anyways, even if she hadn't caught me committing a crime. Plus, Free food? Count me in. What I didn't expect is for my life to turn on its axis.

Music gave her excitement, shayaris brought goosebumps, smiling was her key to live. The only thing that always outshone her than any other was the way she embraced her imperfections and flaunt them back as they are the most perfect thing in the whole universe. This is her, the "JAAN" of Sheikh Haveli. He is one of those kind who always thought romance, love, emotions are only words of books. Thalia Anagnos-Loukanis A 14-year-old girl who has not only struggled to fit in at school but with the people that should have loved her; her family. She was the one that brought two families together. People wouldn't say the families hated one another, they would say that they chose to have nothing to do with one another. But Thalia, she was supposed to bring them together, to unite them. But rather, when she was born, it seemed to change the two families. Instead of them aweing and cooing at her, they would have banished her if they got the chance. Growing up, it became 16 against 1. Older sisters are supposed to share their clothes with their younger sisters and prepare them for what was awaiting for them. Older brothers were supposed to protect the younger ones and tease them from time to time. Not tie their baby sister to a chair and force her to eat her dinner that was just mush or make her sleep out on a cold winter's night so that her body would harden. She looked up to her eldest brothers and sisters, hoping that one day she would be loved by them like parents. But nothing changed from the cold glares and door slams in the face. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "All I wanted was to be looked at like their little sister who they loved" "Just another ordinary day of the silent treatment. I don't think they have ever spoken an endearment to my face" "The ratty hair, the ratty clothes. I probably look like I have just woken out of a trash can not a thousand dollar bed" ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- *TW: some themes and words may be distressing to some* ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Started: 3.10.22 Finished: - Rankings: -

(UNDERGOING THROUGH EDITING) My life used to be the same every damn day-work, work, and more work. Nothing exciting ever happened. Relationships? Mostly strained, especially with my mom. We fought all the time, said things we didn't mean. But there was one fight I couldn't forget-the one where I told her I hated her. After that, I couldn't shake the feeling those might've been the last words I ever said to her. That night, I came home expecting the usual-her yelling, the pointed shoe flying across the room. But the apartment was deathly quiet. Her favorite book lay open on the couch, her phone untouched. It was strange, too strange for her. I stepped inside and was hit by something else-this sharp, metallic smell. Blood. My chest tightened. I froze, heart pounding, trying to figure out what had happened. I had no idea then how much that night would change everything. How the dull, boring life I thought I had was about to be ripped apart and replaced with chaos I couldn't even imagine. <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> "For people who call themselves my brothers, you sure know how to act like total idiots. Honestly, sometimes I wonder if you're even in my family tree." Dominic scowled, looking ready to explode. "You're just grumpy." I pointed right at him like it was obvious. It was. Xavier grinned, that smirk practically screaming I'm trouble. "You're way too quiet. Like, dangerously quiet. And honestly, that freaks me out." I turned to Alexander with narrowed eyes. "And you? You're just dumb."

We all have fallen hopelessly in love with someone in our young tender age of innocence. Except few who get through it happily others get heart broken experiencing the bittersweet pain which remains in the life till the eternal sleep. Some choose to confess while some choose to keep it to themselves. No matter what it's a sweet part of life. ✿♡♡✿ Looking outside at the rain I badly wanted a hug from him. I just miss this human so much always like never before. Looking at one of the 3 pictures he had sent me I just couldn't help from noticing those lips and exposed neck. "You know you have got a kissable lips and necks" I sent the message nervously waiting for a reply with excitement. A minute a has passed and I'm regretting it. Maybe I shouldn't have said that at least not now that we are talking again. But a smile made to my lips when I saw his reply. "Oh really?" It was a simple response yet I couldn't help myself from smiling like a teenager. He has always been reserved except for a few instances but I simply love it. I didn't want to make him wait for too long so I typed a response immediately. "Have I ever lied to you?" Seeing the purple heart reaction from his side I couldn't help just smile more and calm down my racing heart. ✿♡♡✿ Two hearts torn apart due to differences but what happens when destiny brings them together in life. To the world it was a forbidden love but to them it was the beautiful comfort they could ever find in each other. This book is about a love that developed between two hearts when they never planned for it. With a pinch of reality and fiction it's a love story between a 20 year old boy and 22 year old girl. He was reserved with his words while she was expressive. He was a mature person while she was a little kid to him. She was ready to fight the world but he was confused.

A dream

We were alone in the dark, just the two of us, as the moonlight filtered in. It was just the two of us facing each other in the night, as it had always been. She looked at me reproachingly: "What are you waiting for?" "I'm not ready yet. It's dangerous." The same reply as always, an excuse, a lie. I knew. I knew there was no reason to wait. There had never been. I knew I had wings. I knew I could be free. I knew I could fly across the seas. But that was precisely why I had never done so. There was always tomorrow. Or maybe there wasn't. That would've been fine in its own way. And I kept making excuses until one day a letter arrived. And a few weeks later, the next. And the next and the next, they piled up to a small mountain. And every night, in the dark, the girl dressed in a yellow raincoat and yellow boots would hold them up to show me that the past was catching up to me, telling me that instead of running, I should welcome it as an old friend. And that is how my journey homeward began.
