Word Count: 8950 Four months after the devastating events of the invasion of New York, Loki returns to Midgard stating that he was sent to repent for his crimes by helping fight the Avengers' wars. They are sceptical at first, but eventually agree to take him in for as long as Asgard deems it necessary. However, they soon start to realise that something seems off about their new teammate. Why is he suddenly so docile and quiet? Stuff gets uncovered and things go south like they always do when there's a chance for them to. It appears Loki isn't and was never the man they made him out to be. But can the God of Lies be believed? This is probably one of my favourite stories so far. Idk if you read it please tell me your opinions on it in the comments :) 1k reads: February 5th, 2023
