Sora Takashi has never had an easy life. From the moment she was born, things have been difficult. Her mother disappeared early on, and financial struggles eventually forced Sora and her father to live on the streets-where she met Bolin and Mako, and, by extension, Asami Sato.

When times got tougher, working for a gang became her only way to avoid starvation. But things took an even darker turn when her father began to fall ill. So when she's offered a new job, Sora doesn't hesitate-hoping it might be the key to saving her father's life.
