You were regarded as a weird child in kindergarten. Weren't all the kids strange though? Despite the number of weird kids in your general class and grade, you were next level and nobody would hang out with you because of that. Plus, you had pointed ears, which made other kids feel awkward around you. Thankfully, that wasn't the case with Luz Noceda.

You two instantly clicked with your similar interests. You would sometimes get bullied a little for your particular liking of Azura. Sure, it wasn't as popular as Marvel or anime but you liked it. Luckily, Luz was there to help you out against those bullies. Your friendship blossomed with her as you both aged.

However, once you hit high school, you had a couple of problems. You struggled to keep your self-esteem up due to your depression, procrastinated on schoolwork that led to you completing on them during class, and kept getting into fights.

Speaking of fights, you beat up your bully for getting your Walkman broken. But of course, the person getting bullied has to get punished rather than the bully themselves. Luz is also called up to the office for your shared book report, which caused a certain amount of chaos.

Next, you're in a magical world that most likely differs from the summer camp you were sent to. You navigate through that world on a journey of peril, trust, romance, and longing. You even find inevitable information about your family, especially your mother.
