"They're having a party tonight." An idea had hit him. Nini just looked at him. Ricky sighed. "You should go."

"And what Ricky? Have Gina ignore me the whole time? No thanks." Nini stepped back onto her board and began skating away. Ricky groaned and followed suit, struggling a bit to catch up to her.

"Go talk to 'em dummy! They won't answer your texts or calls, go see them in person. Then they have to hear you out." Something clicked in Nini's brain as she came to a sudden stop.
